Sky Breaking Open

In the quiet of morning, before first light, I saw the sky breaking, with all its might, A canvas of colors, in hues so profound, As the old world crumbled, a new start I found. The stars, they scattered, like dreams long forgot, The sky split asunder, the past was begot, A phoenix rising, from ashes and dust, In this sky-breaking promise, in faith, I’ll trust. (Chorus) The sky’s breaking open, like a brand-new day, In its radiant glory, I’ll find my own way, With each fracture of dawn, a fresh chance to be, Sky’s breaking open, like a brand-new day, I’ll finally be free. Gone are the shadows, that once held me tight, Now I’m reaching for the stars, in the endless night, With the sky as my witness, I’ll soar and take flight, In this revelation, I’ll shine so bright. The clouds, they parted, like curtains drawn wide, Revealing a future, where I’ll no longer hide, With courage as my compass, and hope as my guide, In this destiny, I’ll no longer reside. (Chorus) The sky’s breaking open, like a brand-new day, In its radiant glory, I’ll find my own way, With each fracture of dawn, a fresh chance to be, Sky’s breaking open, like a brand-new day, I’ll finally be free.

You packed your bags and walked out the door, You couldn’t take it, couldn’t stand it no more, You left me there with these tears in my eyes, I’ve found my voice, it’s my turn to rise. You needed space, you needed to be free, It was your love I craved, not this empty decree, I stand tall, on my own two feet, In the wake of your leaving, I found my heartbeat. (Chorus) Don’t come back, you’re gone for good, I won’t be your fallback, like I thought that I should, You had your chance, now it’s time to move on, Don’t come back , ’cause now I’m strong. I’ve shed my tears, and I’ve healed my scars, In the shadow of your absence, I found the stars, I’ve found my worth, I’ve uncovered my truth, I don’t need you back, I’ll thrive in my youth. You thought I’d crumble, or so you believed, I’d beg you to back return, I’d be so relieved, But I’ve found my power, I’ve found my voice, I won’t let your memory dictate my choice. (Chorus) Don’t come back, you’re gone for good, I won’t be your fallback, like I thought that I should, You had your chance, now it’s time to move on, Don’t come back , ’cause now I’m strong. So go your own way, wherever you roam, I’ve found my path, and I’ve made it my home, Don’t come back, I’ve found what I should, In the strength of my heart, in the promise of good.

In the spotlight of life, when the world’s turning cold, There’s a treasure we hold, more precious than gold, It’s a friendship so bold, like a tale to be told, Through the years, it’s the one thing that never grows old. (Chorus) Solid friendship, it’s a beautiful thing, Like a melody that makes our hearts sing, Through the highs and lows, we’re together, my friends, In this life’s long journey, we’ll be here ’til the end. Through the storms that we weather, and the battles we fight, In the darkest of nights, you’re my guiding lights, With your hands in our hands, we’ll conquer it all, In this crazy world, you’re the ones that I call. (Chorus) (Bridge) When the world feels heavy, and we’re feeling low, You lift me up, my friend, and help me grow, With laughter and tears, we’ve shared every part, In this symphony of friendship, it’s the beat of my heart. Chorus Instrumental As the years roll on by, and our stories unfold, We’ve got tales to be told, and adventures untold, With a bond that’s unbreakable, and a love that won’t bend, In life’s long saga, you’re the heroes, my friends. (Chorus) Solid friendship, it’s a beautiful thing, Like a melody that makes our hearts sing, Through the highs and lows, we’re together, my friends, In this life’s long journey, we’ll be here ’til the end. So let the music play, and let the good times roll, In the Kingdom of Friendship, we’ve found our soul, With a love that’s enduring, and a bond that won’t bend, In life’s long story, you’re the legends, my friends.

Let’s ride the storm, into the great unknown, Seeking answers, to questions we’ve never known, Beyond the world, where our spirits take flight, In the afterlife’s embrace, we’ll find our light? Like a shaman’s vision, the truth obscured, Is it heaven’s sweet nectar or hell’s torment endured? Do we dance with angels or wrestle with our fears, In this cosmic journey, beyond Earth’s frontiers? (Chorus) Let’s ride the storm, into the great unknown, Seeking answers, to questions we’ve never known, Beyond the world, where our spirits take flight, In the afterlife’s embrace, we’ll find our light? Through the psychedelic haze, we search for the key, To unlock the secrets of eternity’s decree, Will we reunite with loved ones, in an endless embrace, Or wander as lost souls in a desolate space? It leaves so many questions, for us to ponder, As we journey through life, and the world we wander, In the end, we’ll know our time has arrived, If there’s peace beyond the door, or just darkness derived. (Chorus) Let’s ride the storm, into the great unknown, Seeking answers, to questions we’ve never known, Beyond the world, where our spirits take flight, In the afterlife’s embrace, we’ll find our light?

Oh, that golden ray, it called out to me, In a world so weary, it set my soul free, With a promise of hope, in the dark of night, I’ll chase that golden ray, till the morning’s light. In a world of shadows and endless night, I saw a golden ray, it was pure and bright, It cut through the darkness, like a knife through the fog, I followed that light, like an old hound dog. Through the tangled streets, I walked alone, But that golden ray, it shone and shone, It whispered of dreams, and a better day, I’ll keep on walkin’, come what may. Through storms and tempests, I won’t lose sight, Of that golden ray, in the endless night, It’s a song in my heart, a compass so true, I’ll keep on singin’, I’ll keep on pushin’ through. People pass by, with heads hung low, But that golden ray, it started to grow, It’s a beacon of love, in a world of despair, I’ll follow it anywhere, I’ll take it from there. So when the darkness surrounds you, you can’t find your way, Look for that golden ray, to righten your day, With the spirit free, we’ll keep on the fight, Chase that golden ray, till the morning light.

Out on the open country, under the endless sky, Where the rolling fields stretch out so far, and the Shropshire hills lie, With the wind in my hair, and the sun on my face, In these wide-open spaces, I find my place. Oh, the open country, it’s where I long to be, The horizon before me, so wild and so free, The summer fields are golden, with the wheat and the corn, The meadows are lush green, where the wildflowers are born, In the heart of this land, where ancient rivers flow, In beautiful country, there’s room to grow. Oh, the open country, it’s where I long to be, The horizon before me, so wild and so free, In the silence of nature, I find my retreat, Where the echoes of the past, on the wind are so sweet, With a guitar in my hand, I’ll strum along, In the wide open country, it’s where I find my song. Oh, the open country, it’s where I long to be, The horizon before me, so wild and so free, So I’ll walk through this country, where life’s abundance roams In the lush green country, it’s where I’ve found my home, With my heart and a melody, I’ll sing along, In beautiful open country, I’ll forever be strong. Oh, the open country, it’s where I long to be, The horizon before me, so wild and so free,

Well, I heard the wind a-whistlin’ through the trees, As the flaming wildfire danced with the breeze, In this world so wild, where sparks fly, I’ll sing you a tale, beneath the smoky sky. From a flicker in the brush, to a raging blaze, It’s a story of nature, in its fiery craze, With a cracklin’ sound, like a freight train’s roar, Like a dissonant song with fire at its core. (Chorus) Oh, that wildfire’s burnin’, it’s a force of the night, In the heart of the forest, where the embers ignite, With a howl in the distance, like a lonesome cry, A dissonant song, about that wildfire so high. The flames, they’re hungry, they devour the land, Leavin’ nothin’ behind, just blackened sand, A force of destruction, in the wild it thrives, Look out for the signs, you’ll know when it arrives. So when you hear the tale of that wildfire’s flame, Remember the forest, its wild and untamed, (Chorus) Oh, that wildfire’s burnin’, it’s a force of the night, In the heart of the forest, where the embers ignite, With a howl in the distance, like a lonesome cry, A dissonant song, about that wildfire so high.

(Verse 1) I once held your words, like a treasure so dear, In a world full of lies, your truth was so clear, But now, like a curtain, your secrets have drawn, I’ve lost faith in you, like a fading dawn. Your eyes used to sparkle, with sincerity’s grace, But now they’re just hollow, a vacant space, The promises made, like leaves in the wind, I couldn’t imagine, this truth would rescind. (Chorus) Oh, the trust we had, it’s a bridge burned down, In the ruins of faith, I stand here, alone, I couldn’t imagine, but now I have found, The words that you spoke, were carved in stone. In this tangled web, of deceit and lies, I search for the truth, beneath ominous skies, Like a wanderer lost, in a desolate land, I couldn’t imagine, you’d played that hand. Now we’re strangers, in the midst of it all, Once inseparable, now a distant call, The trust we once had, like a ship that has sailed, I couldn’t imagine, how it all turned out so frail. (Chorus) Oh, the trust we had, it’s a bridge burned down, In the ruins of faith, I stand here, alone, I couldn’t imagine, but now I have found, The words that you spoke, were carved in stone.

In the land where the fading day meets the night, There’s a magic that fills up the fading light, It’s the beautiful blue heavenly light Let’s make it right under this blue twilight. (Chorus) Deep blue twilight, it’s a mystical dream, Where the world slows down, a celestial scheme, With stars in the sky, and the moon shining bright, In this beautiful light, we’ll dance through the night. The city’s alive, but it’s startin’ to doze, Neon signs flicker and the traffic slows, In the distance, you hear a gentle tune, This beautiful twilight, under the silvery moon. In the cool evening breeze, our hearts find their song, As we wander together, we truly belong, With your hand mine, we’ll follow the light, In this beautiful light, our spirits take flight. (Chorus) Deep blue twilight, it’s a mystical dream, Where the world slows down, a celestial scheme, With stars in the sky, and the moon shining bright, In this beautiful light, we’ll dance through the night. The night owls singin’, their melodies soar, As we stroll beneath the streetlamps once more, In the hush of the moment, our worries take flight, But in this beautiful light, everything’s right. Let’s savor this moment, in the twilight’s embrace, The world fades to darkness, and stars fill the space, (Chorus) Deep blue twilight, it’s a mystical dream, Where the world slows down, a celestial scheme, With stars in the sky, and the moon shining bright, In this beautiful light, we’ll dance through the night.
